It's funny, I've heard of some new developments which make me really skeptical about the upcoming film, but everything I've seen from its trailers look spot-on with the original graphic novel.

I liked 300 for what it was: completely over the top and hilarious. I mean, I watched it five times the first day I had it. But there was nothing remotely visionary about it.

I honestly think this movie might have come too late. We've already had heroes that decide not to help or question the reasons they help. I just think the cynicism will really be lost. It could be a good watch though.

The novels were written in such a way that would make it really hard to use as a movie. In fact, the writer of Watchmen asked them not to make the novel into a movie because it wouldn't work. They did it anyway.

I expect nothing spectacular in regards to how it translates onto screen, and I expect it to be as bad as Twilight in regards to the script writing. I'll probably watch it anyway though when it's released, because I get to watch them for free.

Good point? Probably the special effects. Maybe the music. I hope, it'll really suck having to view this if it sucks ass on the whole.

It wouldn't be fair not to point out that Alan Moore doesn't want anything he does given the film treatment. Or that he's a big droopy cuntface.

Well it's Rorshach. Wouldn't sound good otherwise, and you'd know who he is quickly anyways if he didn't alter his voice.

I'm looking forward to this; the graphic novel was terrific, about the only thing I didn't adore was the ending, which felt kind of tacked on and lacking.

The bad news is there already seems to be a game for it being made.
